Data protection
Unless otherwise stated below, the provision of your personal data is neither legally nor contractually required, nor necessary for concluding a contract. You are not obliged to provide the data. Failure to provide the data has no consequences. This only applies insofar as no other indication is made in the following processing operations.
"Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Server log files
You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time you access our website, usage data is transmitted by your internet browser and stored in log files (server log files). These stored data include, for example, the name of the page accessed, the date and time of the request, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider. This data is used solely to ensure the smooth operation of our website and to improve our services. It is not possible to associate these data with a specific person.
Customer account
When creating a customer account, we collect your personal data to the extent specified there. The purpose of data processing is to improve your shopping experience and to simplify order processing. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to your withdrawal. Your customer account will then be deleted.
Collection, processing, use and handling of personal data for orders
When placing an order, we collect and use your personal data only to the extent necessary to fulfil and process your order and to handle your inquiries. The provision of data is required for the conclusion of a contract. Failure to provide the data means no contract can be concluded. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR and is necessary for the performance of a contract with you. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent. Exceptions apply only to our service partners whom we need to fulfil the contractual relationship or service providers we use within the scope of commissioned processing. In addition to the recipients named in the respective clauses of this privacy policy, these include recipients from the following categories: shipping service providers, payment service providers, inventory management service providers, order processing service providers, web hosts, IT service providers, and dropshipping suppliers. In all cases, we strictly observe the legal requirements. The extent of data transfer is limited to a minimum.
Use of the email address for sending newsletters
We use your email address for our own advertising purposes to send newsletters, regardless of contract processing, provided you have expressly consented to this. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the corresponding link in the newsletter or by contacting us. Your email address will then be removed from the mailing list.

Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored in or by the internet browser on a user’s computer system. When a user accesses a website, a cookie may be stored on their operating system. This cookie contains a characteristic string that enables the unique identification of the browser when the website is accessed again. We use cookies to make our services more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Furthermore, cookies enable our systems to recognise your browser even after a page change and to offer you services. Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of cookies. For these, it is necessary that the browser is recognised even after navigating to another page.
We also use cookies on our website to analyse the browsing behaviour of our visitors.
Furthermore, we use cookies to later address website visitors with targeted, interest-based advertising on other websites.
Processing is carried out on the basis of § 15 (3) TMG and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR due to the legitimate interest in the purposes mentioned above.
The data collected in this way from you are pseudonymised by technical measures. It is therefore no longer possible to associate the data with your person. These data are not stored together with other personal data of yours.
You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning you based on Art. 6 (1) f GDPR.
Cookies are stored on your computer. Therefore, you have full control over the use of cookies. By selecting the appropriate technical settings in your internet browser, you can prevent the storage of cookies and the transmission of the data contained therein. Already stored cookies can be deleted at any time. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

Use of Google Inc.’s remarketing or “similar audiences” function
We use the remarketing or “similar audiences” function of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”) on our website. This function serves the purpose of analysing visitor behaviour and interests.
Google uses cookies to carry out the analysis of website usage, which forms the basis for creating interest-based advertising. Cookies are used to record visits to the website and anonymised data on website usage. No personal data of website visitors are stored. If you subsequently visit another website in the Google Display Network, you will see advertisements that most likely take into account previously viewed product and information areas.
Your data may be transferred to the USA. For transfers to the USA, an adequacy decision of the European Commission is in place.
Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR due to the legitimate interest of targeting website visitors with advertising by displaying personalised, interest-based ads for visitors when they visit other websites in the Google Display Network.
You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning you based on Art. 6 (1) f GDPR.
You can permanently deactivate Google’s use of cookies by following the link below and downloading and installing the plug-in provided there: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996?hl=de

Use of Google AdWords Conversion Tracking
We use the online advertising program Google AdWords and, in this context, conversion tracking on our website. Google Conversion Tracking is an analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). When you click on a Google ad, a conversion-tracking cookie is placed on your computer. These cookies have a limited validity period, do not contain personal data, and therefore cannot be used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to that page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie, meaning there is no way for cookies to be tracked across websites of AdWords customers.
The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ads and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion-tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information that personally identifies users. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR due to the legitimate interest in targeted advertising and analysing the effectiveness of this advertising.
You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning you based on Art. 6 (1) f GDPR.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate technical settings in your browser. However, please note that you may not be able to use all features of this website to their full extent in that case. You will then not be included in the conversion-tracking statistics.
You can also disable personalised advertising for you in Google’s ad settings. Instructions can be found at https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=de. Furthermore, you can disable the use of cookies by third-party providers by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative’s deactivation page at https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and following the opt-out instructions provided.

You also have the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) f GDPR, as well as to processing for direct marketing purposes, under Art. 21 (1) GDPR.
